When you need a witness or Notary Public to authenticate or execute certain documents (such as affidavits, letters of invitation for foreign travel, travel authorization for minor child travel, passport application documentation, and proof of identity or certified true copies of original documents, etc.), please contact our receptionist at extension “0” to book an appointment. We endeavour to attend to clients to provide notary services within 24 hours when possible.
We have been the Local Agent for Legal Aid BC since 2004, and are here to assist you with your legal aid application and referral to a free lawyer. Legal Aid BC is a non-profit organization that funds the cost of Lawyers for “low-income” persons who are at risk of serving jail time, have had their children taken by the Ministry of Child & Family Services, or have ongoing family law issues. If you believe you cannot afford a lawyer, come and submit an application to the Intake Worker in the Legal Aid Office, located on the lower floor of our offices, and we will do our best to assist you. If you do not qualify for Legal Aid, you can still attend the office to obtain a variety of brochures and publications that will provide you with information about how to deal with your matter on your own. We will also be able to provide you with information about other legal services that may be available to assist you in your case.
